Katie was a pleasure to work with, and helped us to furnish a room off of our new kitchen. This room had a very comfortable breakfast booth, and two beautiful but way oversized leather sofas which we brought to our new house via a move. It is very hard to give up on furniture you love even when it just doesn’t fit in the intended space. However, after listening to us, Katie helped us pick out a new sofa with two comfortable chairs, plus a new kitchen dining set that brought this room together. Katie is such a help because she is a good listener, and then applies her excellent knowledge of products to the situation. We enjoy this much used space off of our kitchen, and the whole experience went much smoother and easier that we expected – because of Katie’s getting to know our taste and style quickly. We have done some upholstery work with her also because she is just so knowledgeable, and can put her finger on what we are trying to visualize. We started working with Katie a few years ago when we wanted to decorate our family room. We were so pleased with the outcome of the room that there was no question we were going to continue with her for other rooms in our home. When friends come over and look at the rooms she decorated they all say “WOW”. Our family room was original to the house and needed a complete overhaul so Katie helped us plan the room layout, pick out furniture and decide on flooring. We went to see her several times with flooring samples to make sure it went with the furniture we liked. This was in addition to her visiting our home a few times so we can honestly say she is very pleasant to work with and very patient in helping us decide on something. We recently had Katie decorate our living room which of course turned out incredible. I think it’s worth mentioning that there were two pieces of furniture that had sentimental value which we really didn’t have a place for. We ended up buying several new items for the living room through Katie, but she also incorporated the two existing pieces we had which now look like they were made for the room because of Katie’s design skills. Because of our experience, we highly recommend Katie, and from seeing her reviews there are many others who feel the same way. I started working with Katie Armour in September 2017 to renovate various rooms in my home. My husband and I left for Florida right before our first delivery of furniture was scheduled in January. Needless to say it was very unnerving not to be present for the work that had to be done. She assured me that all would be well and all would be taken care of, including any services needed from the painter, delivery men, handyman and electrician. She was instrumental in transforming our home from a worn out traditional look into a very light and airy relaxed transitional style.
